A sanctuary for every season of womanhood—from first periods to fertility, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum—Selah Maternal Co is dedicated to transforming the way families and individuals experience reproductive health and parenthood. Rooted in the meaning of Selah—a pause, a moment of reflection—we believe that every person deserves rest, support, and knowledge as they navigate this life-changing journey.

Our mission is to provide holistic, evidence-based care that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit. We offer a range of services including prenatal and postpartum support, childbirth education, fertility and IVF support for conditions like PCOS and endometriosis— as well as sex education for teens and adults. Whether you are preparing for birth, adjusting to life with a newborn, navigating a diagnosis, or simply learning to understand your body—we are here to hold space for you.

At Selah Maternal Co., we are more than just a service—we are a community. A place where women are heard, supported, and celebrated at every stage. A space where wellness meets education, where advocacy meets care, and where you can truly pause, restore, and thrive.

Because every woman deserves a soft place to land.

Meet the Founder

KAYLA HILL, CD, CLC FOUNDER

Kayla Hill is a Full-Spectrum Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, and Childbirth Educator specializing in pregnancy, birth, postpartum, fertility, IVF, miscarriage, and loss support. With extensive experience across the full arc of reproductive health—from menstrual cycle education and PCOS to sex education for teens and adults—she provides evidence-based care and compassionate guidance that meets every client exactly where they are.

Kayla’s work is rooted in the belief that rest, education, and advocacy are not luxuries—they are necessities. Through a holistic and deeply individualized approach, she is dedicated to reducing maternal and reproductive health disparities, restoring confidence, and creating safe spaces for healing and growth across every season of womanhood.

If you’ve found your way here, I want you to know—this is not a coincidence.

Whether you’re preparing for birth, recovering postpartum, navigating a diagnosis, or simply trying to understand your own body—you deserve support that sees you fully. Not just as a patient. Not just as a pregnant person. But as a whole woman, with a whole story, deserving of whole care.

I started Selah Maternal Co. because every woman—regardless of her background, her zip code, or where she is in her journey—deserves access to compassionate, evidence-based support. I believe that birth, postpartum, and reproductive health should never feel like something you have to navigate alone. And I am especially committed to showing up for Black and Brown women, who have been historically dismissed, overlooked, and underserved in reproductive and maternal healthcare. That ends here.

When you work with me, you get more than a doula. You get someone who will sit with you in hard moments, celebrate you in the beautiful ones, and advocate for you when you don’t have the words. You get evidence-based care delivered with warmth, honesty, and zero judgement. You get a safe space to ask every question, feel every feeling, and rest—truly rest—knowing someone has you.

Selah means pause. And my deepest hope is that in working together, you find yours.

With love and in your corner always, the founder of Selah Maternal Co.

What’s a doula?

A doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to women and families before, during, and after birth—and throughout the reproductive health journey.

Unlike a doctor or midwife, a doula does not perform clinical tasks. What we do is something different—and just as essential. We show up. We stay. We advocate. We hold space for you when the room feels overwhelming, when the decisions feel impossible, and when you just need someone in your corner who is fully focused on you.

Research shows that having a doula leads to shorter labors, lower rates of cesarean births, reduced need for pain medication, and higher rates of satisfaction with the birth experience. But beyond the statistics—a doula means you are never done.

At Selah Maternal Co., doula support goes beyond the birth room. Whether you are navigating fertility, preparing for birth, recovering postpartum, or working through a reproductive health diagnosis—doula support is about making sure you feel informed, empowered, and at peace every step of the way.

Every woman deserves a doula. That includes you.
